BDSM
BDSM A lot of people, when they think of kink and BDSM, they think of the whips, chains, pain and humiliation that they assume comes with it. They don't think about the emotional bond between a dom and his sub that can only form in the presence of trust and compassion. She (or he) is totally tied up (down, in half, etc etc.) and depending on you not to do something to violate either the person or the trust. So to speak. Me and my significant other have a sub/dom relationship in the bedroom only, and it wouldn't work if I didn't have her complete trust. Yes, we enjoy the control and denial of orgasms and/or other senses, but we do not enjoy causing each other pain. This works for us. We do no condone any type of violent or dysfunctional relationship that causes harm or trauma to either person. |

Its not just in the bedroom. It's starts outside the bedroom, with the dominant individual making all the decisions and being assertive in a non douche baggy way. There's a difference between someone forcing the dominant attitude to look cool and the one who's actually dominant, the leader.
